Garlic prawn sauce
Talking about sauces, what’s your favourite? I prefer fresh tomato based sauces, and this recipe is one of my first choices.

1 tin crushed tomatoes | |
100 grs cherry tomatoes | |
4 garlic cloves, chopped | |
2 shallots, chopped | |
20 prawns (or shrimps), peeled and deveined | |
A pinch of dried chilli flakes (if you like more spicy, you can add fresh chilli pepper) | |
A handful fresh parsley leaves | |
3 tbsp olive oil | |
Salt | |
Ground black pepper |
Directions

Get the ingredients ready and place a pan with olive oil to start
Place a large frying pan, add olive oil and on moderate heat, cook the prawns, with the garlic, shallots, chilli flakes and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir occasionally and cook for about 4 minutes, until prawns are done.

Reserve the prawns and add the rest of the ingredients
Remove the prawns and add the canned crushed tomatoes to the pan. Cook for about 10 minutes.
Then, add the cherry tomatoes cutted in halves and cook for 2 more minutes.

Add prawns and season
To finish, stir in the prawns, and heat for a minute. Add the fresh parsley and rectify salt and pepper if necessary.
Add to your desired pasta, cook it following the package instructions or if you choose fresh pasta not more than 3 minutes depending size and thickness. Toss and enjoy it!

Notes
-If you prefer more spicy taste, add some fresh chilli slices as the same time you cook the prawns.
