220 grs softened butter
1 large egg | |
2 tsp vanilla extract | |
A pinch of salt | |
To decorate: sprinkles, shredded coconut, chocolate, icing, fondant...
100 grs sugar |
Directions
1.
Prepare the dough
Start mixing the softened butter with the sugar until you get a creamy light texture.
In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and salt.
Add and beat the egg and the vanilla extract to the first mix. After that, start adding the dry ingredients and blend all together.
Personally, I prefer to make the dough the day before and leave it, wrapped with cling film, in the fridge. You can also make it on the day and leave it in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
